About the Producer
Coffee runs deep in the Granda family. The first seeds were planted by Richard’s
grandfather, who saw coffee as a way to provide for his children and secure the family’s
future. His legacy was passed on to Richard’s father, who chose to dedicate his life to coffee not because it was easy, but because he found in it a profound connection to the land and to his family’s history. For him, cultivating coffee has always been an act of faith, patience, and resilience.

Richard grew up surrounded by this heritage. His earliest memories are filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and harvest days spent alongside his family. Over time, he trained in cupping, roasting, and barista skills—even competing—to give his family’s coffee a stronger voice beyond the farm.
Finca Dalinda represents the consolidation of this multi-generational journey. Named after his grandmother, Dalinda symbolizes the effort of three generations: his grandfather, who planted the first trees; his father, who kept the tradition alive with courage; and Richard, who now carries the family’s story into the future.
Philosophy
Every bean from Finca Dalinda carries the essence of family, tradition, and love for coffee. Richard’s vision is that this story doesn’t remain only in the fields but is shared in every cup enjoyed around the world.
