Flavor Profile of a  Lugmapata 2

The Lugmapata 2 variety stands out for its bright, juicy acidity, reminiscent of citrus fruits like orange and tangerine. This acidity is well-defined and vibrant, yet not excessive, adding freshness to the flavor profile.

The Washed Process: Purity and Clarity in Every Cup

The washing process completely removes the pulp and mucilage from the beans before drying. After pulping the cherries, the beans ferment in water for a controlled period, which helps eliminate any sticky residue. The beans are then washed and dried in the sun or in mechanical dryers.

The result is a coffee with a clean, bright profile that highlights lively acidity and fresh notes, such as citrus and flowers. This process allows the bean's intrinsic character to shine through, delivering a crisp, refreshing, and well-balanced cup experience.

Recipe to prepare Beauty Nature

Ingredients:

- Amount of coffee: 15 g

- Water: 240 g at 94°C

- Grinding: 609 µM (medium fine)

Steps to follow:

  1. Pre-infusion: Pour 30g of water over the ground coffee, making sure to moisten it evenly. Let it steep for 30 seconds to allow the coffee to bloom.

  2. First pour: Add 90g more water, bringing the total to 120g. Gently stir to ensure all the coffee is in contact with the water.

  3. Second pour: Spirally pour another 60g of water, bringing the total to 180g. This spiral motion ensures the water is evenly distributed, promoting a balanced extraction.

  4. Final Pour: Complete the recipe by spirally pouring the last 60g of water, bringing the total to 240g. This step completes the extraction in a smooth and controlled manner.

Why this recipe?
